Inner Paths

Nights in the Garden

Inner Paths is an invitation to understand travel as something that goes beyond physical movement: an experience of transformation, contemplation, and discovery. The landscape ceases to be a mere backdrop and becomes a space for perception, memory, and inner exploration.

The two films presented, La Transpirinenca and Viatge a la llum, share an introspective perspective that sees the journey as a process of discovery, openness, and personal transformation. The path becomes a physical, spiritual, and perceptual experience that invites us to question the relationship between the body, the landscape, and that which transcends immediate reality.

La Transpirinenca, Paco Peris, 2026, Barcelona, 60 min.

Crossing the Pyrenees from end to end, from Cap de Creus to Cabo Higuer in the Basque Country. An 850-kilometre trek on foot: a physical and mental challenge, but above all a profound life experience—emotional, spiritual, and transformative. This screening features the section of the journey filmed in Catalonia.

A visually stunning story immersed in nature, where the earth merges with the sky and humanity dissolves into the cosmos. A journey through our land, where mountains, trails, villages, and wildlife lead beyond the visible world, to a place where the sacred reveals itself and consciousness opens to embrace the natural world. A celebration of life, the journey, and ecology.

Screening followed by a discussion with the director.

FRIDAY, July 10, 10:00 p.m.

Viatge a la llum, Alessandro Quaranta and Barbara Held, 2026, Barcelona, 40 min.

An initial audiovisual and sonic interpretation based on Illuminations: The Experience of Light, the unfinished research project that Toni Serra *) Abu Ali developed in Iran.

Screening followed by a discussion with the director.
