There is an artificial unforeseen event in the strange and opaque sequence that leads to regions beyond prior judgment. Thus, the subject has no choice but to escape from preconceptions that are intended and assumed to be defining of one's own or collective identity. There are intuitions about the sense in the definition of critical mass and in relation to the illusory continuity between what we call reality and its preconceived image. The dream of the machine, the intimate dissolution of the image in an interface that is difficult to assume. "Heretic Garden" is a reflection on the classical notion of Punctum applied to the context of the dissolution of contemporary image in excess and bewilderment.

In a variation of Roland Barthes' classic definition, in this session, we consider the possibility of mystery in the representation of what has not been alive before. In the systematized and serialized image. Heretic Garden presents contexts, objects, and subjects that are difficult to identify in strange and delocalized imaginaries, apparently antagonistic, unreal in that they lack the expected soul. This session, in tutorial format, aims to structure a useful analysis practice, based on the projection-audition and subsequent commented dissection of visual and sound fragments without a defined cultural origin. Objects without a declared authorship, but with recognizable characters situated between clear polarities, often outside common sense. Beyond acceptance or rejection, continuity is proposed between distant senses that exist where imaginaries dissolve into the inconceivable.

    Fifth Trilogy, Heretic Garden
    20 minutes, 2024.

A passage of unknown authorship in tutorial format composed of various conceptual and sensory blocks. Imaginaries that synthesize subjectivities, delusions, and excesses, transitions to a dead-end path. Suspicious visions. Optimisms and admirable landscapes, moments of fabricated intimacy. Falsehoods, honesty, and the artificial space in between. Objects of desire, provocations, temptations, and perhaps our place in the cosmos.
