Sandra Staffl was born in Berlin in 1979 and first studied filmmaking at the College of San Mateo in California before moving back to Germany to work as a camera assistant on several feature films and commercials. From 2005 to 2011 she studied camera at the Film and Television Academy "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam Babelsberg and realized a number of films as a cinematographer and director. With films such as "ETWAS ich", "Japaaann!" "Changgo" and "Girl from Abu Dhabi", she has successfully performed at several international festivals, graduated from the HFF with "Giftchen" and has since been working as a freelance cinematographer for documentary and photography Feature film.
