Palestine
Mira Sidawi is a Palestinian artist who was born in the Bourj Barajneh refugee camp in Lebanon. She produced and directed her first film in 2016, "Four Wheels Camp", a documentary short film that was screened at the Ciné-Palestine Festival in Paris where it won the Jury Prize and was also screened at the Beirut University Film Festival where it won the Audience Award. Her second experience in production and directing took place with the film "The Wall" in 2019.
Mira Sidawi lives in Lebanon and is currently working on her novel "Tell sleep tone sleep", which she then intends and hopes to transform into a film. This novel is funded by the Mophradat organization under the program to support writers in the Arab world.
