He has directed around thirty documentaries for television broadcasting. Meat and Milk is his first long-footage film. His filmography starts in 1975 with Fatima and the religious pilgrimage during the Portuguese Carnation Revolution, rewarded by the French “Grand prix” d’Antenne 2. All of his films deal with social matters like sport (Napoli Corner with Maradona at the height of his fame – 1987, Canal Plus ; Marie-José Perec sans effort apparent - 1993, Arte), the business world ( Managers encore un effort- 2000, Arte; Premier emploi à la Courneuve- 2002, France 5), sciences (Cerveaux, morceaux choisis- 1990, A2, Grand Prix du Festival international du Film Médical ;Les travailleurs de la preuve- 1997, Arte ; Le dur désir de durer- 2008, France 5, Prix Art CAID) or about artists (Thierry Escaich au miroir de Bach, 2006, KTO ; Marcel Ophuls parole et musique- 2005, France 3).
