Born in Barcelona, Codina (1969) lives and works in Paris. Small everyday habits are the object of his work. His starting point is an interaction with people he does not know, to whom he asks a question, asks them to do something, proposes a game or asks them to react to something without the slightest importance. The results compose a lyrical evocation of the many differences between people, beyond the usual categories of identity. Codina's work has been shown both on television (Canal Arte, Canal+) and in institutions such as the Fundación La Caixa (Barcelona, 2001), and he has participated in a number of group exhibitions throughout Europe.
