Yaël Hersonski (Israel, 1976) is a documentary director and editor. A graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School in Jerusalem, she blends historical archives with contemporary storytelling to explore memory and representations of the past. Her best-known work, A Film Unfinished (2010), examines Nazi propaganda footage shot in the Warsaw Ghetto and has received numerous international awards.
