Palestine
Maryse Gargour was born in Jaffa. A graduate of the French Press Institute, she holds a PhD in Information Sciences from the University of Paris II and is a journalist at the Office de radio-diffusion-télévision française in Beirut. She works for the International Film and Television Council of UNESCO in Paris. She is a freelance journalist. She makes documentaries on Palestine.
Maryse Gargour's films are documented by unpublished film archives, extracts from official documents, stories, interviews with historians and testimonies of Palestinians. She has made several documentaries on Palestine, including: «Une Palestinienne face à la Palestine», «Le pays de Blanche», «La terre parle arabe»,"A la rencontre d'un pays perdu".
