Xapo Ortega began his professional career in the fields of architecture and graphic design. In 2004 he set up his own studio, 72dpi.net, and produced graphic projects in collaboration with architects such as Carles Ferrater, Benedetta Tagliabue, David Chipperfield and José Luis Mateo, and many studios including b720 and Fuses-Viader architects. In the 1990s, he was also involved in the founding of the Primavera Sound festival and other music projects. He currently works with collectives linked to social movements in Barcelona, generating social and political protest video material, including the production company METROMUSTER.
