Born in Barcelona in 1972, Óscar Martínez has a degree in History. He worked as a photographer and archivist until 2008 when he became interested in the audiovisual world. In 2009 he produced and produced with his own resources the documentary Gaza War in Media.
The documentary analyzes from a critical point of view the role of the Spanish media during the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip in early 2009.
By comparing the media treatment with real images of the Israeli bombings, Gaza War in Media tries to demonstrate the informative bias that the media observed in favor of the Israeli side.
Since 2014, Óscar Martínez has been dedicated to livestreaming of all kinds of cultural, social and sporting events.
