Marc Almodóvar is a documentary filmmaker, coordinator of the blog egiptebarricada.blogspot.com, and regular contributor to the weekly journal La Directa. He worked as a freelance journalist based in Egypt for nearly five years. He is the author of the book Egipte rere la barricada (2014 Virus) and director of a dozen documentaries including Khamsa (2016), Erhal (2011), Eskandereya (2010) and BCN Thematic Park (2009).
