Professor of the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Membre of the UAB Research Group on Anthropology and History of the Construction of Social and Political Identities (AHCISP), recognized as a consolidated SGR research group. Member of the Network of Interest in Ethnological Heritage (XIPE) of the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the UAB. For ten years she has carried out ethnographic fieldwork among the Ndowe of Equatorial Guinea on the field of female procreation. Her current lines of research are the sensitive dimension of reality, conflict, performance, symbolism and ritual.
