Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), located in central Israel, is a world leader in the production, marketing, design and development of weapons unmatched in more than 80 years. IWI products are used both in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and around the world. All IWI weapons have been combat tested in harsh and extreme environmental conditions.
Cockroaches are born, grow, reproduce and with the Cucal formula, they die and disappear.
Cucal from Cruz Verde, proven efficacy.
During the Weimar Republic, Gerd Arntz, the graphic designer who invented pictograms and isotypes, those simplified figures that allowed a quick and clear reading of the message, put his art at the service of the Spartacist League and the Communism of the Councils. His woodcuts and linocuts, always with well-defined lines that made possible their reproduction by simple means, warned again and again about the danger of a new war and with it a new order based on terror. Nazism was coming.
In his engraving “Crisis” (1931), the unemployed wait at the door of the store, watched by a policeman. Above them, in the place where the goods are piled up, two journalists take photographs of them, and above the journalists, on the third floor, the bourgeois, owners and manufacturers of weapons, take pleasure in the view. The powerful use the money bags as a seat.
In the engravings “War” (1931) and “For the Fatherland” (1936) the workers leaving the factory are transformed into soldiers and the soldiers into corpses that in turn become tombs. All before the watchful eyes of the owners, military, judges and priests.
In his engraving “Third Reich” (1934), the production of weapons that the obedient workers carry out is the support of the whole Nazi building. The pyramid is formed, in hierarchical scale, by military officials and capitalists. The apex is occupied by Hitler with his arm raised.
In the engraving “Precision Work” (1938) a worker adjusts a bomb used to kill a family.
In the engraving “Visit to the factory” (1935) the workers of an arms factory watch attentively the couple of businessmen. Above the couple hangs the threatening hook of a crane.
Almost a century later, the works of Gerd Arntz are still relevant today. And for a variety of reasons.
The first is because the military, businessmen and high-level officials continue to constitute the power elite.
The second is because the nightmares of nationalist militarism are once again haunting Europe.
The third is because, despite the mental doping of the entertainment industry, the ferocity of our present is becoming more and more manifest.
Today, corporate videos in which companies advertise weapons that will end other people's lives are filmed with the frivolity of an action movie. News channels broadcast the death of a soldier at the hands of a sniper, emphasizing the fact that he has broken a new record in long-range shooting. The killing is presented as a sport.
The always disconcerting cruelty of live blood constitutes a promise. The death of the other is craved, the combat drones increase the resolution so that we can appreciate the spasms of agony. The pornography of death plunges the world into a hopeless circle, and that plunge constitutes the ultimate joy of an existence doomed to resentment.
